MPAJ Convention Centre
The MPAJ Convention Centre in Taman Melawati is a community facility development project funded by the Selangor State Government, MPAJ, and contributions from the developer, Sime Darby. Initiated in 2018, the convention centre is strategically located and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It has been designed and built to host a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, international conventions, wedding ceremonies, and cultural festivals.
The project was fully completed on October 27, 2023, at a total cost of RM31.6 million. It encompasses 60% public park development and 40% convention centre space, integrating green initiatives and sustainable elements. The centre was officially inaugurated by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, the Chief Minister of Selangor, on February 6, 2024.
Effective March 1, 2024, MPAJ appointed Felda D’Saji Sdn. Bhd. to manage the MPAJ Convention Centre in Taman Melawati.
